SET DESIGN | CONSTRUCTION
This fast moving farce, written and directed by Thomas Cobb, takes place on a self storage unit. The action demanded a stage full of doors, very little view line from one unit to the others and doors that opened and closed at a very fast pace whilst boxes were moving from hand to hand.
The stage was then almost fully occupied by the four self-storage units where most of the action takes place. The reception and office of the self-storage company have been placed on the thrust.
“The staging was clever – using the facilities of the theatre well. ANA BRETES, ALAN ROBINSON & THOMAS COBB created the design for the set, which really worked very well.”
